  2. these are some posters I designed for eight&one dance company. the show is called life’s canvas, so what better way to convey that, than by actually printing these posters on canvas. edges were scored and ripped to solidify the design and add an organic and raw feeling throughout the work. the show is march 23rd, if you are in the DFW area, stop by and check it out. tickets available at http://www.8and1dance.com

  3. Happy New Year! Going through the archives today looking for something to post and I found these symbols I created for cocktail menu a while back. They were never used, but I liked them so I kept them around. If you like them, feel free to download them (illustrator eps vector) “on the house” and use them as you wish. Cheers!

  6. Process. Here is the process behind my first experience with hand drawn typography. It was a great challenge and one that I feel that i needed to get under my belt. It was for my sister, so there was even more added pressure by myself to get these perfect. This is honestly one of the most important projects I have ever been given to complete. Love might be lucky, but hand drawn typography takes patience. Good thing for me, patience and luck were on my side as the invites were well received by all.

  7. New Work: Just completed this flyer for a commercial refrigeration/AC/heating company who specializes in servicing older models. Went with some heating and cooling coils for the border as well as some retro elements intermingled to help put this job on ice. Client was happy and that’s always cool with me.

  8. Going to the archives on this one. Baby shower invite for my wife’s friend. Printed on a heavy matte cream stock. These looked great when finished. Was mailed out in a #10 matching stock policy envelope.

  10. Here is a logo that was completed recently for a long time client. The logo helps put a face on their capital campaign which will help them finish renovations on their new location. I incorporated their existing music/tree logo, with a stylized illustration of their building. Although I cannot take credit for their original logo (which I love), I was very happy to include it in this new identity for their capital campaign. Visit them at www.appletreearts.org
